It seems that seiko and citizen follow at times similar trends trough their story and I think this is one of the cases where they stand face to face at a same level.

Citizen must surely had to overcome the same problems concerning torque in the development of a quartz movement for a massive diving watch as their titanium professional diver 800 mts rated for oxi/helium diving.

I had the opportunity of owning both the 300mts and the 800mts and I think both are first class.

If anyone can add a piece of enlightenment on the history and development of this two watches it would be a delight to read.
