Ill take a crack here... MORE
I won both the 779k and the 173. They both use teh 7S26 movement. The 779k is a bit more of a modern design. the 173 is a classic work watch. if you look around a bit you can find review of both of these. there are a lot of pics on the internet. AS far as my choice?... hmm... thats tough. they are both great. The 173 gets a lot of wrist time when i want a basic dive watch. A true work horse. Kind of a military look. The 779K gets wrist time when i want to stand out just a bit. the hands on the 779k are a little more exotic.
