I prefer ...
the SKX-007 although I own the SKX-173 living in the USA. I prefer the black bezel and the slightly recessed crystal, along with the more traditional look dial and hands. Glows well enough for me at night... if your eyes are adjusted you can still read the dial at 6:00AM.
In fact, after reading on this web site of so many great Asian dealers, I will purchase the SKX-011J as soon as I can find one (as opposed to the orange dialed 779 cousin).
I actually prefer the stock rubber strap on these watches. You can wear them a little loose on your wrist without them sliding around. I have found that they get more comfortable after a few months of wear.
