HI Jack and all....thanks for posting these old pictures ....the white bowl in the first scan is from the 1st class dinning area of the wreck Andrea Doria...my only wreck dive using air in recreational scuba gear....that was 1980 all my water stops where timed with my 6309....the ship lays in 240fsw with a least depth of 170fsw....on the subject of depth... the 6309 has been at depths from 30 to 400fsw with no leakage ...there must be a number of scuba divers on this forum and I want to warn all of you that diving wrecks like the Doria is extreme diving....get your certifications...drowning is a hard way to die....the Doria takes 1 or 2 divers each season...in closing this out I want all of you to know that I highly recommend Jack and Mike at Industrial Watch Works when you need a place that not only does exceptional work on restoring early Seiko divers but are also easy to work with and will send you scans of their work in progress..the only trouble after refinishing ,you become very paranoid about scratches etc.. 6309-7049 #732677 thanks you Jack and Mike...and Jack... lets keep them guessing about that unique pilot chrono I sold you..
Mid-Week Cheers to the Group
Neil
