As far as Saphire is concerned, I think Seiko did what it did with the hardlex, becuase its the best decision for a divers watch, and I agree with them.
Saphire is incredibly brittle, and very sesative to tempreture changes. Although its very scratch resistant, it can break without warning.
I`m going to try and get some spare parts from Higuchi, and I guess We`ll see how cost efective the MC is,:^)
