I believe the 200m version of the 7002 diver was made for export to the North American market. Apparently, not as many were produced, based on how often one sees the 150m versions in comparison to the 200m ones.

I'd be interested to know the first number of the serial number of your watch, since I believe the late 90's is a bit too old for this one to have been manufactured.

My only other comment is that these are rising in price rapidly. There have been several used 150m ones on Japan Yahoo Auctions recently, and they are starting to demand prices similar to the older 6309's.
