I'm not surprised...
if the S'pore manufactured movements are indeed supplied to other countries, incl. Japan itself. It was mentioned in an earlier posting that Seiko Japan does bring in SKX 007s from S'pore to sell in Japan. At the same time, the 173, being manufactured in S'pore, is not sold in S'pore itelf. A thought though, perhaps u may prefer to make a comparison btw a Japan 007J with a S'pore 007K instead.
