I have the SKXA35 Auto with Yellow Dial...

As for the color, I wear this watch as a break from the black-dialed divers. To me it's a "fun" watch to be worn to the beach, parties, etc.
The lume in the hands and on the hour markers is off-white. The hands themselves are the standard silver which allows them to get "lost" on the dial when the watch is viewed at certain angles. However, just turning the watch brings the hands back into "focus." Overall I don't find it to be a big problem, although I'd probably go with a dark-dialed version if legibility is critical (actual diving, etc.).
The pics on the net, especially good ones, are pretty close to what this watch looks like in real-life. The yellow of the dial is pleasant to look at and the rest of the watch (case, movt, bezel) is the same quality and finish of the other Seiko diver models.
