What you have in the 6309 is>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
A 27mm (or 12 ligne) movement, using 17 jewles, running at 21.6kbph.
The 6309 is an adaptation and a extention of the earlier 6105, which had the same specs.
With the exception of the fact that it using two bushings on two of the train wheels, I find it totally faultless. Because of Seikos propiatry metalurgy in the balance and hairspring, its quite capable of outstanding accuracy, coming close to being able to run at 2-3 seconds a day on average in a properly setup watch.
Heres some info on a better version of the 6309, the earlier 6306. Except for a few differences, its the same movement, and most of the facts can be applied to the 6309.
Cheers,
Randall
