I have the 8009 and the cushion...
they both look good on my 8" wrist. The cushion case just has more "shoulder". More detail should be paid to the crown. My 8009 does not have a locking crown (although it is signed). The cushion cases do have a locking crown. I think this is a more important detail than the case shape. The 8009 do have a crown gasket, just not a screw type case and crown.
