horrendoulsy abusing the p*ss out of one for over a decade which it took as well or better as any of its forebearers would have).
As much as we love the 6105's and 6309's, I acutally have what might seem a strange prediction. one, that the 6309-729x's, having a pretty short time of production, and, based on numbers that turn up (I probably see a dozen 704x for sale for every 729x), a relatively smaller total pool, are going to be over priced and under supplied on the collectors/enthusiasts circles in the future.
I predict the same of the 7002's. At earliest late 80's started, more likely early 90. A relatively short period of production before the skx/7s26's came out. I probably again see a dozen 6309-704x for sale for every 7002. not real popular when came out because dropped the day/date of the 6309's. They still don't seem all that popular and collectible compared to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd model divers. I only bought my 7002-7009 back in 1990 because you could not find a 6309 at the px anymore then. then add in first 200m introduction in the basic auto diver line with the 7002-7039, marking the transition from the 150m. so that makes a whole lot less of 150m 7002's to go around, and the 7039 a collective as a "first" in something. plus, I do not see near as many of these for sale as 6309's.
now, as far as the skx/007 series go, is it just our access with the internet, or are they making these in droves compared to last two lines (7002 and 6309-7290's)? anyways, just my 2cents on the line.
