I don't think that there is a difference>>
I can only say that Singapore made movement (confirmed by one of expert in this forum) in my new Seiko 5 is very accurate after two weeks of wearing the watch and self made adjustment. It gains 0.5-1 sec a day! I coudn't prevent myself from opening the watch and trying to adjust it after I discovered that it gains 5-6 sec from the box. I know that I should wait some time allowing my watch to warm its engine. But it is not very expensive watch so I could afford to play watchmaker and it seems that it was worth. We'll see how it behave with time.
Maybe it is important but balance wheel is made with steel like metal, not gold like. I have a feeling that best balances are made with mixture of metals that shine as gold. Finishing simple yet nice.
