This is all great news!
I plan to use this as a dive watch and I'm glad to hear it'll still be up for the job despite the age (for that matter, I'm glad I'm up to the job despite MY age : )
I had a few other Seiko dive watches and found them a bit too small. I know, they are pretty substantial, but the 41mm looked smaller I guess when the crown sitsat the four o'clock position. Seeing so many posts and pics of the 6309 really got me interested in it. Now comes the hard part-waiting!
