Seiko & Citizen Watch Forum Message Archive
I tried to be as unbiased as possible
The review wasn't intended to be a 'this watch is better than the other'. I just used the Seiko as a comparison. To be honest the Orange Monster is a great watch and for the money it is unbeatable. It has also got a cult following as well. I love it. Also all things being equal, I have less issues with it than the 300T. Quality, fit, finish are all superbe and the luminosity of the Seiko kicks the Doxa's butt big time (and just about any other watch I know!). I bought it and haven't really a bad word to say against it. However, I always wanted a Doxa and am guilty of favouring it in a 'which do you prefer contest'. If I had 1,000 bucks to spend I'd buy the Doxa. If not I'd buy the Seiko. As it happens I have both...Yippeeeeeeeee.
Cheers
Pete
