I say under $500, to exclude the Marinemaster 300M, the huge and expensive 600M autos, the 1000M quartz, etc. I guess that leaves the ultra rare 6217's, the 6105s, the 6309s, the 7002s, and the 7s26s...maybe I'm forgetting one? Oh, and the H558 and other quartz divers...

For me - I'm going with the 6309-704x cushions. I've now had a 6105-8119, a 7s26-0020 (SKX007) and now the 6309-7049. I've also had the smaller titanium diver with the champagne dial - cant remember the model number. Had it been larger, I probably would have kept it. To me, it's the best of the old (cushion case) and the best of the new (bold hands, solid screw crown) I also prefer the "trapezoidal" hands at 6:00 and 9:00 to the new SKX series divers.

I'm sure there will be a lot of 6105 responses, but I'm sticking with my 6309. I'm in love!!!!!!
