Bracelet scratching
Hello.
Pros:
I have had the SKX779K for several months now.
I am very pleased. After I adjusted it myself, it is running within 2 seconds a day. I use an atomic watch every night, if the seiko has gained a second or two during day, I place it Dial up during night or day (depends on when you do your sleeping) to make it loose time. If it has slowed down a second or two, I place it crown down because it will then gain 2 seconds. Result= very accurate.
Power reserve is more than 48 hours....
Very rugged.
Cons:
Bracelet: I found it to have some sharp corners, also on the lock. Solution: used some fine sand-paper to smooth out the rough edges.
The date changes half hour before midnight and the day lags almost to 03:00 am . Annoyes me because I work as a pilot flying nights, and whenever I need to write the date on some papers around midnight, I really have to think about : has the date changed or not.....
It will not affect people who sleeps during the night.
Cheers
