I have both this is my take.
My 7002 is made in Singapore 7s26 is also Singapore. The 7002 is far more accurate and does seem to hold a wind-up longer. My 7002 is only off 3 seconds a day the 7s26 is 10 seconds off per day, but is only 3 months old. I feel the 7002 is a better movement.
