Seiko durability
I own a Seiko SDS105 200M diver's watch with the 7002 movement that I bought new in April of 96. I work in a prison where there are many hard grills, doors, beds, etc. I have hit this watch many times on the above mentioned items and this watch has never skipped a beat. I've worn this watch doing plumbing and roofing jobs without a problem. I wore this watch every day from the time I bought it untill August of 2001 when it went to the jewlers for a routine cleaning. During the six weeks the watch was at the jewlers(they were backed up that far), I bought a Seiko SKX781 200m diver's and now I trade off wearing each watch. All I can say is that my Seiko has held up extremly well. This was also my first Seiko I've ever owned.
