Pretty tough...
I used to have a very bad temper.
I got my 6309-7049 in '87. In about '89, I threw it as hard as I could at a concrete floor. When I say as hard as I could, I mean I strained, jumped into the air, and spiked it at the floor.
The crystal didn't break, but it ran like 5 minutes off per day after that. I was still water resistant, at least as far as swimming etc. That's as deep as I ever used it, even before the spike.
It sat in a drawer from about '90 -'91 until Apr '04. I just took it in to be repaired a couple of weeks ago. I hope it can be fixed, I've been without it on my wrist for too long...
