I cannot thank you enough for all this effort on my behalf. I only hope you enjoyed doing the research! Your info pretty much confirms what I thought. Your posted pic is the one, all right. In the few days I have had this piece, it has become my favorite Seiko diver (even over my 779!). The lighter lines but still substantial appearance just "do it" for me for some reason (probably because I am in lust with the old Omega 300's :-)! Reckon I'll pop it open and replace the back and stem seals and check the crystal fit just to be safe!

Again, thank you very, very much for your trouble. Hope I can return the favor sometime.
