30 YEARS!
I just got a World Timer from John R. Miller that was bought in very early 70's in Vietnam. It is the 1970 model. He wore it and when he returned from overseas he gave it to his dad. The watch very recently stopped working. I bought it (a gamble).
The movement in not that worn, had never been opened in 30 years. It is being brought back now...
That is my best testament to Seiko longevity.
