Torn between a NOS 4205 diver and a SKX173, help me decide!
I'm into rectangular dial indices, so it's between these 2 watches. The 007K is undoubtedly the best value, but I just don't like the round indices, so my pickiness is going to cost me! Both the 4205 and 173 are priced about the same, so that's not a factor. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy both, therefore this wrenching decision must be made.
NOS 4205 150m diver
Pros:
can be manually wound
domed crystal
"vintage"
Cons:
no day, only date
37mm size might look girly on my wrist
only 3mm wider than my wife's SUG089K!
SKX173
Pros:
40mm width prevents it from ever being mistaken for a womens watch
day/date
200m WR (purely academic)
Cons:
flat crystal (right?)
not "vintage"
no manual winding
what should I do?
