Get the bigger one...
I have the 4205 and it's small enough that it feels like it should be a ladies watch. Of course, for most women it's still too big. But unless you have a really tiny wrist, the 4205 is going to look and feel small because the actual dial surface area is only about 28mm.
I'd say go for the bigger SKX173. That's the standard size for a Seiko diver. I have a small 6.5" wrist and I don't feel the 173 is too big -- once you start wearing it you'd get used to it.
