Go for the 173.
I've owned my SKX173 for longer than I can remember (So old in fact, my model doesn't have the day).
I love this watch, and I believe its second only to the SKX031K2 , which is just a really beautiful watch (also diver's , but not really useful as a diver's watch)

or maybe not...as Im trying to take a picture of this with my digital camera, it just stays blurry...odd.. well here you go anyway:
