that you have one of the odd Seikos from 1969? that still uses a 7-digit serial number. Like Shawn said in his post below, he's seen 7-digit sn's on watches as late as '69. The conventional understanding is that the transition from 7 to 6 digits is somewhere around late '67 to early '68, but I'm guessing there must have been some overlapping of the two systems. Maybe your watch was made right at the transition point (that's my guess).
If your 6105 is in good shape, I'd keep it around. The odd sn might increase its value eventually!
