About the crystal. >>
I wouldn't switch the crystal. I would order a crystal for it and stash it. If you should scratch the acrylic crystal you can remove it if not too deep. If you scratch the glass one even a little you won't get it out. That's what I would do. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
