How I Found the Seiko SKX173
Ryan,
A few month ago, I got on the Internet and started to look for a new watch. My current watch is a 8-10 year old Timex quartz 100M watch. I love the style and for the life of me I could not find a watch with the same style. Unbeknownst to me, this watch is a "divers" style watch. Duh...I am not into scuba diving (so how would I know?)but I like this style. Then I came upon a Seiko quartz chronograph that looked like my watch...black watch with black bezel. I was going to buy it except the SEIKO SDWE32 is no longer available; "dag nabit," that just got me piqued. So, I searched the net and by accident, I hit an option on one of the web site watch vendors and walla..."divers watch." I then realized, that my current watch is a "divers style" watch and I just think this style is so cool.
BTW, I would sure like to buy that Seiko SDWE43 chronograph but Seiko no longer makes it, according to my research. Sure would love to have had that watch. Nevertheless, I will get the SKX173 and also the Seiko SDWD49.
Regards,
Bob
