An early '80s quartz analog from K-mart. That was back >>
when the only logical reason to buy a watch was because you actually needed one. Took two trips to (then) Soviet Union shortly after and each time had numerous offers by Russians wanting to buy it or trade stuff for it. Those Russians knew quality when they saw it. Kept it until mid '90s then traded it for a Seiko 5. After that there was no turning back.
Now awash in Seikos,
