Where's the proof that >>
007K and 009K's are made in Singapore? They don't say where they are made anywhere on the watch. I sent an email to Seiko Japan asking that very question and the answer was that they are made in Japan. Just because they don't say "Made in Japan" does not prove that they are not made in Japan. It's anybody's guess where they are really assembled but so far the "007K and 009k made in Singapore" thing is just an often repeated unsubstantiated rumor. If there is some proof that they are made in Singapore I stand corrected and Seiko gave me misinformation.
