my 173 had sweet markers...
and even though the sn dated it to 95, it glows even nicer than the 007k and 007j I have dated earlier this year. Although, the best lum I ever had was when I got a new 6309 in 86, I don't know what they put on them back then, but it gave my tritium lensatic a run for its money!
I prefer the flat strap as well, it is much like the classic ones. mine is thiner and softer than the curved 007 ones, but not as thin and soft as my vintage one. I'm not sure, as 2 of my 3 vintage straps wore out (this one is not far behind!) but it either came of an 80's 6309, a 90 7002, or a 90 h601.
