KISS..thanks pete, all too often we get caught up in details...
and miss the point altogether.
Of course Seiko would design the to the simplest common denominator; make it strong enough so extra measures are not needed! I Seiko can design and build a reliable 1000m dive watch then making one with an He-explosion proof system should be a snap.
It's not about permeable seals or lifting crystals...it's just a simple matter of keeping the inside in and the outside out. Anything that can slowly work it's way in will have to slowly work it's way out
