The L gasket keeps helium out
thats what it does, keeps out any significant helium
to prevent damage to the watch, it does not keep out
100% of the helium, but it is proof against damage from helium,
thus it is helium proof.
so are we going to argue semantics all day or what?
The L gasket keeps out the helium so there is no need to release any.
