Thanks Sir les & Petew and yes all of you guys!...really excellent information you all....
gave, good disagreements actually made some come out and research the issue and put tid-bits of fragmented facts together to help us all understand the facts of Seiko's most innovative he-gas resistant system!
Another great fact to be aware of is the "Screw Down crystal retaining ring".
~ This didnt get alot of attention, but it works with the L-gasket and single piece case construction to form a tri-system of Helium resistance or basically He-Proof system!
The below translated link will show Seiko's 1/70th reduction in he gas entry percentage, then the 1/3rd additional reduction of the L-gasket design, then the 1/2 further reduction of total he gas entry percentage...
~ basically with Sir Les doing the final scientific equation, the Seiko professional Divers are confirmed to be about as He gas proof as can be!
